Intake Assessment

    The purpose of an intake assessment is to evaluate each individuals needs and recommend the most appropriate program(s). The Intake Specialist evaluates major life areas (physical health, vocational development, social background, legal involvement and psychological functioning) and assess the extent (if any), to which alcohol or drug use may have interfered with the individuals functions in each area. Once the intake assessment is complete, the Intake Specialist will recommend the proper path for the individual and answer any questions the individual may have pertaining to class description, payment amount and method, and follow-up. To ensure a continuum of care the assessment is ongoing.
